Brushing your teeth a minimum of once a day, along with flossing and regular cleaning, are the foundations of good oral hygiene.  It only takes approximately two minutes to do a complete brushing. You may think you don’t have the time, or don’t want to spend your time on something as boring as tooth brushing.  The alternative in many cases is painful tooth decay, expensive dental care, and possibly, multiple loss of teeth leading to bridges or dentures.

Small-headed, soft-bristled brushes are best, for removing plaque, debris and ease of reaching tooth surfaces. Replacing your toothbrush about every three months and or when it begins to show wear is the guide line for replacing toothbrushes.  Powered toothbrushes are also very popular and effective.
